Norman Pattiz is the founder and chairman of Podcast One. Podcast One is one of the largest Podcast advertiser supporters in the entire country. In December, Pattiz announced the premier of a new show called Beyond the Darkness.

Norman J. Pattiz, who was born on January 1, 1943, joined the Podcast market last summer. He founded Westwood One, a radio network based in New York city back in 1974. Pattiz was CEO of Westwood One until February 1994. During the Clinton administration, Pattiz was asked to serve on the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) of the United States of America to oversee nonmilitary international broadcasts. By the end of the Clinton administration, he was reappointed by President George W Bush to continue to serve on the Broadcasting Board of Governors. Pattiz became the voice of Radio Free Europe and launched many radio stations that broadcast in the Arabic language. In addition to radio networks, Norman Pattiz brought television broadcasting to 22 countries of the Middle East, In addition, he brought radio stations using the Farsi language broadcasting so 40 million listeners in Iran can enjoy radio.
In 2009, Pattiz was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame for his many decades of producing radio programs. He was accepted by the University of California Board of Regents.
