Start-ups go through some ups and downs through their lifecycle before they establish themselves in the market. It is with the simple steps and the determination of the owners that most of them grow to become one of the leading companies in whatever industries they represent and in whatever country they operate in. In Switzerland, one key player in helping start-ups achieve their goals is the Swiss Startup Factory (SSUF). The company is involved in the acceleration of startups in their growth process to enable them to become full-fledged companies.
The company was co-founded in 2014 by Mike Baur and others and since its formation; the company has helped many startups achieve their goals in a big way. For instance, in the last 18 months alone, SSUF has executed three fruitful accelerator batches, and over the same period of time, the company has invested in eighteen startups in their early stages. The founders of the company have developed an exceptional and a privately financed Swiss startup platform which is tasked with identifying, analyzing, and fast-tracking most promising initial stage ICT startups in Switzerland.
According to Max Meister, the Co-Founder, and CEO of the company, the last two years have proven to be very successful for the company regarding concept development and the market response they have received. He goes further to say that the company is poised to make strategic partnerships which will see its operations going to the international arena.
One of the most important milestones in the company’s operations is the founding of the Swiss Startup Group (SSUG). The company acts as the parent company to Swiss Startup Factory and consolidates all its activities and holdings. The two Cofounders of the group, Mike Baur, and Max Meister will act as the Executive Chairman and Delegate of the Board respectively. The two will also be assisted by Michael Wilder who will take up the role of SSUG’s Legal Counsel.
