The Brazilian Capital Abroad Survey required by the Central Bank of Brazil, is a survey that measures the worth of foreign stocks and assets held by Brazilian residents and entities that live or are headquartered in Brazil, and must be presented annually for entities that’s value is over $100,000 on December 31.
Those who ignore completing the survey can be fined up to $250,000 dollars. In order to deter fraudulent and incomplete information these statements must also be made quarterly by legal entities and residents whose assets total more than one hundred million dollars.
